2018/19 starts here.....

Aberdare RFC have confirmed their coaching set-up for the 2018/19 season.

Luke Thomas and Chris Jones remain in place for another term following last years respectful 4th place finish in Division 2 East Central.

Luke and Chris will also continue to head-up our Athletic xv, but are looking for someone to assist them in training on a Thursday and to take lead with the Athletic xv on a Saturday.

The Senior xv will once again compete in WRU Division 2 East Central, but the Mid District structure is yet to be confirmed for our Athletic xv.

Darrell Williams continues as Team and Logistics Manager and will be joined by Colin Davies following Peter Williams retirement at the end of last season.

Mark Stephens remains as Head Coach of our youth and will be joined by Damien Petts, Simon John, John Williams and Lee Bowditch with Darren Parry as Team Manager; continuing to run 2 youth teams for a 6th consecutive season.

One youth team will compete in the newly formed Blues Premiership and the other will compete in the Blues (North) Conference.

Pre-season schedules will follow shortly, but all senior players are reminded of the Hoc Non Credo Player of the Year BBQ which is on Saturday 23rd June at 4pm.

Anyone who represented our senior section last year is invited and any players wishing to join us next season are also welcome to come along and meet the players.
