Aberdare continued their momentum with inside centre Garyn Payne adding to the scoreboard and successfully converting his own try, stretching the lead to 12-3.

The Snakes didn't ease up, pressing forward to secure their third try. Matthew Davies displayed incredible determination, gathering the ball under pressure, setting up outside half Thomas Hopkins for a breathtaking 40-meter run to the corner, elevating the home team's lead to 17-3 by halftime.

The second half witnessed an aggressive start from Porth, but Aberdare, brimming with confidence, showcased unwavering defence. Porth fought back, securing a try of their own, closing the gap to 24-10.

However, the standout moment came from fullback Matthew Davies, delivering possibly the game's best try. Starting from Aberdare's 22, Davies displayed exceptional skill, chipping over Porth's defence, regathering the ball, evading three defenders, and exhibiting impressive speed to secure Aberdare's fifth try. Garyn Payne's successful conversion extended Aberdare's lead to 31-10.

Porth, renowned for their dominance in the forward pack, capitalised on their strength, displaying patience to secure a try under the posts, concluding the game at 31-17.

Aberdare's exceptional defensive display and dynamic attacking strategies nullified Porth's scrum dominance, rightfully earning them the victory. The young Snakes have been a delight to watch, showcasing remarkable defensive prowess and an unyielding attacking threat over the past few weeks.
