In early 2009 a small group of senior members, enjoying a sunday morning drink, solving the world's probelms, complaining about every topics imaginable, decided to live up to the reputation in the club as "a lot of Victor Meldrews" and organised themselves into a group of activists. They decided to adopt a "One Foot in the Grave" show, to use the giant tortoise as a logo and Victor's phrase "I DON'T BELIEEEVE IT" (freely translated as "HOC NON CREDO").
