As the season drew to a close on Saturday evening with our Senior Player of the Year Presentation, we took a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to our backs coach, Mark Rees.

Mark has been a cornerstone of our club for the past 5 seasons, dedicating 2 years to our U18s team and the last 3 with our Senior Team. 

What he has achieved since coming onboard has been nothing short of remarkable. His unwavering commitment and passion for the game have been invaluable, and we cannot thank him enough for his contributions.

Under Mark’s guidance, our Senior team has achieved back-to-back promotions over the past two seasons. His influence on our backs has been evident, especially with the incredible tries we’ve scored this season. 

Mark’s dedication is unparalleled; come rain or shine,

he’s there an hour early on Tuesdays and Thursdays, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Mark's passion for rugby is contagious. He has instilled a belief in our players that they can take on anyone, fostering a sense of confidence and determination that has been crucial to our success.

While Mark will be greatly missed as part of our coaching setup, we know he'll continue to support the team from the stands, cheering us on with the same enthusiasm and dedication.

Thank you for everything, Mark. As a club, we deeply appreciate all your efforts.
